The All-Party Parliamentary Human Rights Group (PHRG) organised this meeting with relevant FCO officials for an update on action being taken by the UK Government in connection with the case of Andargachew Tsege who faces the death penalty in Ethiopia and has been held in incommunicado detention since July 2014.

The PHRG will continue to follow developments on Mr Tsege’s case and to use the parliamentary platform to raise the case to the relevant interlocutors.
