The All-Party Parliamentary Human Rights Group (PHRG) and the Indonesia All-Party Parliamentary Group organised this meeting to discuss human rights issues in connection with Indonesia. We would like to thank Baroness Stern for chairing.

Among the issues discussed with the Indonesian Parliamentarians were access to West Papua for media and use of the death penalty for drug trafficking offences.

The PHRG thanks the Indonesian delegation for engaging in constructive dialogue. We will continue to follow developments in Indonesia closely and support inter-Parliamentary engagement and dialogue between our two countries.
